SEDORRHOIDE CRISE HEMORROIDAIRE Suppository

INDICATION

This medicine is a local anti-inflammatory and anaesthetic.

This medicine is recommended for the treatment of haemorrhoid flare-ups.

DOSAGE

2 or 3 suppositories per day.

Method and route of administration

For rectal use.

Duration of treatment

Treatment should be short term (maximum 7 days).

If you take more SEDORRHOIDE CRISE HEMORROIDAIRE, suppository than you should: Excessive use may worsen the side effects.

NEVER TAKE SEDORRHOIDE CRISE HEMORROIDAIRE, suppository, IN THE FOLLOWING SITUATIONS:

allergy to benzocaine.

Like all medicines, SEDORRHOIDE CRISE HEMORROIDAIRE, suppository, may have side effects although not everyone experiences these:

Possible allergic reactions to one of the ingredients.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines including medicines obtained without prescription.

This medicine should preferably not be used during pregnancy or when breast-feeding. If you think you may be pregnant ask your doctor as only your doctor can determine the need to continue the treatment.

In general terms you should ask your doctor or your pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.

Treatment should be short term. If the pain does not disappear rapidly, consult your doctor without delay.

A medical opinion is necessary before use in children.

The benzocaine contained in this medicine may cause methaemoglobin (an excessive amount of some pigments contained in red blood cells which adversely affects oxygenation of the blood).
